It’s time for another Maternity Stitch Fix! Now that I’m five months pregnant and into my second trimester, I requested to have a maternity fix. My baby bump is just starting to show and I can still fit into most of my clothes; however, they are starting to get a little tight with my growing belly! I thought this was a great fix because all five of these items could be worn after pregnancy.
In case you don’t know, here is how Stitch Fix works:
- You start by filling out your style profile – you will complete all sorts of questions on sizing, fit/cut, pricing (I choose the cheapest category), style preferences – colors, prints, fabrics, etc. You can also write notes about likes/dislikes. *** Important Note: Make sure to link your fashion board on Pinterest so your stylist can see what you like!*** (This has been truly beneficial for me because my stylist ALWAYS tries to find similar items that I have pinned to my Pinterest board).
- Order your first fix! Your card will be charged a $20 styling fee however, if you keep at least one item you will be credited back the $20. Because of this, I always recommend keeping at least one item or you are essentially giving away $20 for nothing in return. You will receive 5 items (made up of clothing, jewelry, handbags, and shoes). I personally only want clothing in my fix so I chose to not receive any accessory items and marked that in my style profile.
- You have 3 business days to decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back (don’t worry, Stitch Fix also provides a pre-paid postage envelope so you don’t have to worry about paying for shipping to send any items back). During this time, try on the items, mix and match them with pieces already in your wardrobe and don’t be afraid to try something on even if you initially don’t like it when you first pull it out of the box. You may be surprised on what items you love after you try something on! *If you keep all 5 items you will receive 25% off your entire fix.
- When you check out – Leave feedback!!!! This step is super important so your stylists knows your likes and dislikes!
***Just to note: I chose to receive quarterly boxes during my pregnancy; however, this is in no way a subscription service. You choose how often you want to receive a fix. This can be every 2-3 weeks, monthly, every other month, every 3 months, etc.
Remember – If you see anything that you like below, feel free to pin away and/or ask your stylist in the notes section of your next fix for the item or something similar!
Maternity Fix – 2nd Trimester
Skies Are Blue Maternity – Arnett Maternity Lace Knit Top & Liverpool – Reagan Maternity Skinny Pant
I absolutely loved this top. The color is absolutely beautiful (and my favorite color!) and the lace detail makes this top gorgeous. This top is great to wear when you want to feel feminine and flirty! Or it would be an amazing top for the upcoming holidays.
I love the Liverpool brand jeans and these pants are no exception. They are super soft and very comfy. For those of you that have been pregnant, you know, comfort is key!
Loveappella Maternity – Charlote Ruched Side Maternity Knit Top
This top is amazing. First, it has stripes! I am a huge fan of stripes. Second, it is soooo comfy! I also love that it’s a longer, tunic length which is great because it will continue to cover the growing baby bump.
Madison Lily – Vianne Cardigan
I am always freezing cold so this cardigan is great. It is super thick and so warm. I love the burgundy color and it’s a great piece that you can wear post pregnancy.
Loveappella – Hartley Knit Maternity Dress
This dress is cute and I like the polka dots. It is really soft. And guys, I totally would have worn different shoes with this dress. But OMG it was December and I was freezing cold!!!
Which piece(s) would you have kept from this maternity fix? And if you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below as well! Also, you can check out my previous fix here!
