DIY Shabby Chic Easter Eggs
These shabby chic Easter eggs look like beautiful, vintage-inspired pieces, but are made from plastic eggs, twine and ribbon found at the Dollar Tree. These eggs are easy to make and you don’t even have to be a crafty person to make them!
Supplies
- Plastic Easter Eggs
- Twine
- Ribbon/Lace
- Hot Glue
Start with a glob of hot glue on the bottom of the egg. Slowly wrap the twine around the egg in a circular motion. Use a tiny bit of glue on the egg for the twine to stick as you go along.
If you use too much glue it will seep through. But no worries, just wait for it to dry and simply pick it off. Once you’ve wrapped the entire egg, it will look something like this.
For the final touch, add ribbon, lace or buttons to give it that shabby chic look! Additionally, I bought this bowl and moss from Dollar Tree as well. For only $5, you can create this beautiful display of shabby chic Easter eggs!
