Introducing our Foundation Cause Shade for February 2021 – Domestic Violence Awareness: 1 in 4
Domestic Violence Awareness
To support Domestic Violence Awareness, the Color Street Foundation will be donating $50,000 to Futures Without Violence. This organization is a health and social justice nonprofit with a simple mission: to heal those among us who are traumatized by violence.
Futures Without Violence provides groundbreaking programs, policies, and campaigns that empower individuals, organizations and communities. They are working to end violence against women and children around the world.
In addition, Color Street will donate $100,000 to The National Domestic Violence Hotline. Importantly, this is a vital service that provides 24/7, year-round support to those affected by relationship abuse.
Their advocates confidentially provide compassionate validation and support. Additionally, they help the victim with connection to local resources. Further more, advocates will also provide a personalized safety plan via phone and online chat.
Above all, if you or someone you know is impacted by domestic violence, call 1-800-799-SAFE to access more information. Additionally, you can use live chat services at www.thehotline.org.
In conjunction with this pledge, specially designed 1 in 4, a purple holographic glitter shade, will be releasing today, 2/2 at 11:30 AM EST to help raise awareness for the cause.
