With the kids now home all day, every day, they are probably eating you out of house and home! I don’t know about your kids, but all my kids want to do is snack all day. We all know it’s important to eat healthy, but sometimes that is really hard to do. Sometimes, you have to be sneaky and hide those healthy ingredients! One of the ways I like to do that is to make healthy muffins! My kids think it’s a treat, but they don’t know it’s loaded full of good stuff!

To ensure proper nutrients intake, it’s important to incorporate fruits, vegetables, proteins and whole grains into all meals. But let’s be real, what about those sweet treats? I have a sweet tooth and love desserts! Even during quarantine, where ingredients may be scare, it is still possible to eat a healthy diet. With a little planning, you can still make foods that are not only tasty, but nutritious!

One good thing about muffins is that the recipes usually make 12 muffins. This is great because you bake in bulk and muffins freeze extremely well so if your family is not going to finish 12 muffins, you can freeze them for later!
