Spring has sprung and that means Easter is right around the corner. Easter is the perfect time to gather with family and friends to celebrate the holiday. You don’t have to bust out your heirloom china. You can set the right tone creating an unforgettable Easter tablescape with thrift store finds, Dollar Tree deals and a mix of vibrant garden blooms!
How to Create an Easter Tablescape
Not sure where to start making your Easter tablescape? First choose a color palette. Select one main color and then carry that hue through linens, glassware and your centerpiece. Choose two or three other colors in the same color tone to add a pop of color. Think muted, vibrant or even a classic black and white.
Second, don’t be afraid to mix and match! As I mentioned earlier, thrift store finds can be your friend! Find pieces that have similar colors to your color palette and mix it up! Everything does not have to be the same. You can mix patterns. Simply pair pieces with consistent colors.
Setting a guest-impressing table setting is really simple. Start with a charger. Hello Dollar Tree or your local craft store. You can find some cute, really inexpensive options! Then add your dinner plate on top. Want to get really fancy? Add your salad plate on top of your dinner plate. Place your silverware on the side of the plate. Forks on the left, knife and spoons on the right. Add a cloth napkin and voila! You just made yourself a fancy tablescape.
